Film Shoot

I think this shoot was most successful at capturing the authenticity of the place. This clubhouse was really rundown but made it really interesting to shoot. Every last detail end up linking back to a member or person who’s part of this community, it represents a place where people come and share experiences, memories are created.

I found that I was very interested in the decay of the clubhouse as well as the objects. This is because I felt it did the same job at being a reflection of the club as a whole, and the community it’s created. It’s suggesting that it doesn’t matter that the building is falling apart because it’s not effecting their relationship with the club, nor is it the experiences that can be created. The rundown club possibly is a reflection of the carefree  attitude of its members.
